Due to an air conditioning system malfunction, some services at the PA CareerLink® Luzerne County at Hazleton office located at 75 North Laurel Street Hazleton, PA 18201 have been suspended to the public until further notice.
The Unemployment Compensation (UC) phones and the computer resource center are unavailable and all training workshops have been cancelled through the end of this week.
The following services will be available with the following modifications:
UC hearings will continue to be conducted using the Maple Street entrance which opens into the section of the building that has maintained air conditioning.
Youth General Education Development classes have been moved to Luzerne County Community College's Hazleton campus one and one-half blocks from the Hazleton CareerLink office.
Employment Advancement and Retention Network (EARN) activities will continue using the conference room which is in the section of the building that remains air conditioned. A rear entrance that opens directly into the conference room will be utilized.

UCMS is now available to all users for the first-quarter 2013 filing period and thereafter.
Please note that UC-Tides is no longer available for filing UC tax, wage reports and/or payments.

The department's latest outreach to Pennsylvania businesses and consumers, the speakers bureau is a one-stop-shop to find a speaker on a topic of interest to you or your business. All presentations are offered free of charge and we will work with you to tailor the talk to your audience.
Are you a UC claimant looking for a career or a business looking to hire? Keystone Works provides business-driven training opportunities for eligible UC claimants. A claimant can continue to collect full UC benefits while participating in training provided by a business, and the business is entitled to receive incentive payments if the claimant is hired and certain requirements are met.
