State Workers' Insurance Fund (SWIF)
SWIF's New Prescription Drug Program
The State Workers' Insurance Fund (SWIF) is pleased to announce our new prescription drug program. Through a partnership with Cypress Care, we are now providing an option to make it easier for injured workers to obtain prescription drugs for treatment of a work-related injury. Cypress Care has contracted with many pharmacies and retail chains. When we accept an injured worker's claim, a prescription card will be mailed to him/her. The card may be used to purchase future prescriptions related to the accepted work injury, if he/she chooses to participate in this prescription program. The new prescription card will provide prompt refills (no out-of-pocket expenses) and the option of convenient home delivery service for longer-term prescriptions.
To locate a participating pharmacy located in your area or if you have additional questions please contact Cypress Care at 1.800.419.7191.
