UC Service Center Hour Changes

UC service centers no longer accept calls on Wednesday. Calls are taken Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Services such as filing biweekly claims, payment information and checking the status of a claim can easily be accessed on the UC.PA.GOV website.
The service center will accept calls from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. If your SSN ends in an odd number — 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 — please call for assistance on Monday. If your SSN ends in an even number — 0, 2, 4, 6, 8 — please call on Tuesday. We will provide assistance to all callers on Thursdays and Fridays. Videophone services for the deaf will continue on Wednesdays from noon to 4 p.m. (Sign language is the ONLY means of communication provided through the video phone.)
These changes are due to reduced UC claims levels and corresponding federal funding reductions. We are appropriately reducing costs while maintaining customer service.

Forms UC-1099G, Statement for Recipients of PA Unemployment Compensation Payments, were mailed on Jan. 16, 2015. The downloadable version of Form UC-1099G is now available. Click here to view your Form UC-1099G online, or print a copy.

Electronic Filing

If you have not already registered with UCMS to file electronically, the time to do so is now.

State Information Data Exchange System (SIDES)

NEW! Sign-Up for SIDES — an efficient, electronic way to respond to department requests!
SIDES is a new, web-based system that allows the Department of Labor & Industry (L&I) and employers to communicate more efficiently when an individual files a new unemployment compensation claim. The system transmits questions from L&I about the individual's claim to the employer electronically, and allows the employer to respond electronically, which will enhance the timeliness and accuracy of UC claims.
